Well June is just around the corner and I'm looking to start the month off right.
I've prepared a budget for June using Dave Ramsey's site EveryDollar.com and have found it to be very useful.
I've also purchased and am excitedly awaiting the start of She Reads Truth, shereadstruth.com, Women of the Word, nine-week devotional study, starting Monday, June 1st and I cannot wait for the journey I am about to embark on.
You can download the She Reads Truth app in the Apple App Store and then the Women of the Word plan, I'm assuming starting Monday, just like all of their other plans.
I'm hoping to keep you posted throughout the month of June as I embark on both of these journeys.

Day 1: Again
I know, I know, I know...
Goals:
I'm probably the only one reading this, but here I am, AGAIN, trying to get back into shape. No clue what the downfall was last summer, probably rain. What a lame excuse, right?
Well here they are again, no clue if they are the same:
Goals:
- Workout everyday.
- No matter if that's walking, cleaning (yes this is a work out), etc. JUST DO IT! (Nike :))
- Make it a habit.
- I can stress this to myself enough.
- WATER....totally failed today, but I will make myself drink at least half my body weight in H20
Motivation:
It takes 4 weeks for you to see your body changing. It takes 8 weeks for friends and family. AND it takes 12 for the rest of the world.

Walked around I & I grounds with Brandi and Sydney.

Chilly day today, total temperature drop. Pretty proud of the pace though. Definitely shaved off some time. Need to keep it up.

Day 6
Walked around the grounds of the I & I with Ruger. I think I wore him out.

Pace: 17.52 min/mile
Really working on trying to keep it under an hour and eventually get my walking down to 15:00 minute miles.

Day 3: Friday -- Rest day
Day 4: Saturday -- Walked 3 miles in 51 minutes, personal best for this stint of exercise
Day 5: Sunday -- My birthday, turned 29...rested and relaxed with family.

Day 2:
Walked two more miles through the I & I tractor grounds. Had a nice walk though the woods after one lap around the grounds. Nice shaded walk for about half a mile. Came back and did 50 jumping jacks and 5 push-ups.

Day 1:
Today starts the new, well old, me. At one time I was in shape and exercised on the regular. Today that becomes a part of my daily life. I make this promise to myself.
Goals:
Short term - lose 10 pounds
- be able to run a mile
- drink more water...much more
Long term - run a 5 K
- eat less sugar
- quit drinking pop, tea, coffee, and the like etc.
Not a lot of goals so to speak but ones that are certainly attainable. Come with me on my journey to return to my high school self, just older, wiser, and able to legally drink :)
Today:

20 crunches
1 - 30 minute plank
Don't laugh, I'm a beginner...again!!
