Day 7

Walked around I & I grounds with Brandi and Sydney.

Distance: 2.04 miles
Pace: 16:26 min/mi

Chilly day today, total temperature drop. Pretty proud of the pace though. Definitely shaved off some time. Need to keep it up.

Day 6

Walked around the grounds of the I & I with Ruger. I think I wore him out. 

Distance: 3.07 miles
Duration: 54:56 minutes
Pace: 17.52 min/mile

Really working on trying to keep it under an hour and eventually get my walking down to 15:00 minute miles.

Day 5

Day 3: Friday -- Rest day

Day 4: Saturday -- Walked 3 miles in 51 minutes, personal best for this stint of exercise

Day 5: Sunday -- My birthday, turned 29...rested and relaxed with family.

Day 2:

Walked two more miles through the I & I tractor grounds. Had a nice walk though the woods after one lap around the grounds. Nice shaded walk for about half a mile. Came back and did 50 jumping jacks and 5 push-ups.

Day 1:

Today starts the new, well old, me. At one time I was in shape and exercised on the regular. Today that becomes a part of my daily life. I make this promise to myself.

Goals:

Short term - lose 10 pounds
                   - be able to run a mile
                   - drink more water...much more

Long term - run a 5 K
                   - eat less sugar
                   - quit drinking pop, tea, coffee, and the like etc.

Not a lot of goals so to speak but ones that are certainly attainable. Come with me on my journey to return to my high school self, just older, wiser, and able to legally drink :)

Today:

Walked 2 miles
50 jumping jacks
5 push ups
20 crunches
1 - 30 minute plank

Don't laugh, I'm a beginner...again!!
